You win some. You lose some. The game of life never really changes. Each peak leads to another valley. Even the most exhilarating or devastating ocean wave of emotion, will wash away. What remains is the key. So as the Yankees fortunes swing from poor to powerful you maintain your balance. Your ability to withstand those days of not being able to find a comfortable place to sit, the days when Wally won’t leave the cat alone, the sun is too hot, the math is too hard, the noise too loud, the wi-fi connection is glitchy, the man-made computer network software application platform thingy whatever is funky, or you stub your toe…what matters is what remains. So hopefully, you can focus on what is right in front of you, barrel up the ball and swing freely knowing that your balance, your base, your “stance:” will keep you grounded. So like Aaron Judge (or in 2020 Luke Voit) to the baseball we can respond.
