May your New Year be filled with as much goodness as the bones that Wally found from the Turkey Carcass that was not so carefully tucked away in the garbage. Thankfully, we can now enjoy the sound of creatures crunching on pirated snacks for days to come. Every couple of hours the little devil will strut through the room toting his turnkey leg that was presumably long gone but apparently was never far from his mind. I guess some people’s holiday leftovers last longer than others. Oh well. It’s a good thing that we can celebrate a New Year ahead of us without fear from thinking that poor Wally does not have an abundance of bones to gnaw on now. We can set our sights and hopes and optimism on full blast for onward and upward and see where that takes us. It will be better to focus on the far brighter future of more sunrises to come knowing that we have all of our bones in a row…or ducks in a row…or at least time to treasure the gifts we have to offer each other. Whether those gifts are the soft, stringy cartilage hanging from a bone on your week old turkey leg or simply a smile, share your gifts. And smile. It’s better than barking or crying. Feels better too. Thanks for Coming!
