It’s that time of year! We got lots of optimism flowing faster than Wally can slip his tongue in your mouth, but it’s also time for evaluations, like report cards and teacher evaluations and planning end of year celebrations. Busy stuff. So we should have a quick newsletter sent out from the Academy so everyone is up to date with what lies ahead. Ya know if we fail to prepare we will prepare to fail, like when I failed to check the plastic bag for Wally’s nooner deuce pickup and sadly discovered the hole in it after it was too late. Messy hand aside, I learned my lesson. But, as is often the case, history repeated itself when the Assistant Principal also grabbed a holy bag- but she had the foresight to ask for an unholy bag, thus her hands remained clean. See? She was smart enough to look before leaping and did not suffer the same fate as me. Or I. Or whomever…
Back to the Newsletter:
Dear Academy Community,
Thanks for all your hard work this quarter. The Administration is appreciative of your efforts to pick up after yourselves and manage your time to learn, and achieve amazing progress in your academics. Keep up the good work.
Please be aware that spring is here, but the dress code will be enforced. Please dress appropriately. Sometimes, you really do need to bring a sweatshirt despite the fact that taking one will mean conceding the A.P. is right.
Also, now that the sports season is in full swing, please keep the locker rooms clean and orderly. Having 27 baseballs, 4 lacrosse sticks, 5 baseball gloves, 3 basketballs, and 7 helmets of various sizes and colors seems excessive for the number of athletes in the Academy so please be mindful of where your equipment is.
Onwards and upwards, we want to thank you for the Spring Saxophone Concert (with a guest appearance from an actual Danvers Marching Band member, who coincidentally is the daughter of the Head of Maintenance for the Academy). They both have birthdays coming up so thank them and wish them well if you see them in the hallways.
Thank you also to the students for appreciating one another’s accomplishments and efforts. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Last Call for anyone that might be interested in walking the dog at 6AM.
Raffle tickets will be distributed in homeroom. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to pay for the trip to Florida that has been rescheduled multiple times thanks to the Pandemic. The fully vaccinated and golf happy duo down there also appreciate you. They send their best wishes.
Locker clean out times will be posted soon. Please remember to get the trash in the barrels and not the floor. Wally and staff dislike stepping on rotten bananas. And moldy bread. And potato chip bags.
Finally- This newsletter would be incomplete without recognizing the Independence Bonanza that came with students being able to ride their bikes all over God’s creation last week. And another student soon to be driving all over this great land. Biking and Driving. Be careful. But enjoy the newfound independence.
Return your Report Cards to your homeroom teachers by 4/14.
Please Keep Smiling,
Principal Donadoni
As always, Thanks for Coming!

Keep up the good work and the positive spin on everything.
I love Wally’s poop issues! Who among us have not put our hands through a hole in the bag and into the smelly, hot s***. Love it! You always make me laugh, Mr. D.
