Thank you Kerrys (the other women)

Things change. Seasons. Occasionally my underwear gets changed. But what doesn’t change in schools, houses, fields or parks, or wherever kids…be…at…is the idea that all we really want to do is be good so we don’t get coal in our stockings on Christmas Day. Also it’s a time to show you all of the gifts under my tree. So please listen up to what I say. Remember I am the teacher and I always have a lesson to share. In the Donadoni Academy we are all so blessed to have the time and space we need to maximize our potential. But, this Christmas tale comes talking about when I couldn’t find my own tail. But trust me- I NEVER chased other tail. At least since I got this institution of the Academy founded in July of 2001.

But there was a time when life wasn’t so easy and kind of rough. Not even Charlie our mouse in the house was very happy. And in order to not get coal any more in my stocking- I need to admit to some things in my past.

Yes- there were other women. But the two I mention here are not named Mary. Although there was always something about Mary. More than a laugh, but these two are better than Christmas- and truly always Merry. It’s ironic both women are named Kerry.

One of whom is a principal- how ironic I know. The other one is as fine a leader and Vice Principal as even me- crazy ain’t it? But these two bright lights of my past, are great other woman whose inner beauty is rarely surpassed. Even the Real Wife, (Real Boss) could readily agree- they were both perfectly healthy for me to be…working with.

These two Kerrys knew me well. They answered the Beatles call when I needed help. One gave me a job and the other her shoulder- but both pulled me through when those times were blue. So for every man who dares to have greater needs- please hold onto your wife and find women who do good deeds. Rather than share a pillow- share your trouble and get help on the double. I know that they will always appreciate me, because when I needed help standing up they let me be…who I am. One saved my job when I couldn’t’ walk and visited me in the hospital when I nearly died. I know- she even made me cry. And they each showed me what I could be. Those kinds of people I hope my kids find along their journeys because together the two have made all the difference. And that is how when two paths diverge in the woods, stay on the trail and always be good. Helpful advice to a marriage and life, and so you can protect your most valuable commodity- your very own wife.

Thank you Kerry. Or is it Kerri, I never remember for sure. But they know who they are and I am happy to share these two gifts with any and all who enter the castle. For without them, I could not be living the dream- so lean out your window and please scream, “Thank you Kerry, for all you did for me! I mean…you saved the Captain of the Ship so he could reach his island of dreams!”

SO to these two special people in our lives in the castle we always say, “Thanks for Coming!”
