In the Castle of Bill, all is well. The children are learning and growing and swimming with joy. Heck- they are also playing musical instruments with poise and precision. And the presence of her big bro’ at the ahhhh mazing concert of Brave Maeve was a spectacle to behold. Flowers and ice cream and friends and family time galore. Good thing too, cuz the dishwasher been broke and the pool needs a gas price sized Hoover vacuum to clean it out and did I mention the 37 foot tall weeds towering over our “too bad it’s empty” whiskey barrel flower pot? Not to be confused with weed. Or whatever. Moving along. Just sayin’ that the concert of the 6th graders at HRMS demonstrated the perfect amount of seasoning of a symphony. Not too salty. Just right. And the show ended with the spotlight on the children. Right where it should be. The Academy showed out and triumphed over missing shoes and yesterdays blues. So, yeah- I am tired. But filled with peace. All is quiet on the Western Front. Oops! I realize we are also a day after D-Day, so maybe I got my wars mixed up. But that’s ok- I believe in peace anyway. And would you look at that even Theeeeee Yankeeeees Won! What a day turned into night! Memorable and probably redeemable?
Either way…Thanks for Coming!
